Membership

If you are interested in joining our church family, there are several opportunities for you to do so immediately following any of our worship services. The following are responses to several of the most frequently asked questions about membership in our church.

DO I HAVE TO BE BAPTIZED IN ORDER TO JOIN THE CHURCH?

The only requirement for membership at Main Street is a Christian Baptism and a Profession of Faith in Christ. Main Street recognizes the validity of your previous Christian Baptism. Those who have not received Christian Baptism should contact our Pastor.

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERS?

Membership at Main Street is a significant commitment to grow as an adult Christian disciple in your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. All members make the same vow but we all fulfill them differently. Throughout the year, each member is asked to reflect on where God is leading them and how to better experience grace in worship, grow in grace in groups, and share grace in ministry.

SO, WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?

If you have already been baptized, you may join our church family at any time. Please speak with one of our pastors so they may help you along in the joining process.
